A short post today as I’m about to go and put my feet up in the garden. I had an unexpected day off work today and, not wishing to be lazy, decided to do a shift in the garden.

Now, anyone that knows me will be fully aware how much I hate gardening, but needs must. I won’t bore you with the detail but the grass has been cut, the patio furniture returned from storage and a wild flower bed installed amongst other things. Now time to relax with a cold drink and enjoy the 18 degree temperature.

I’ve charged up the portable speaker and was looking for music to play and finally settled on one of my old mixes, which I’ll link down below.

It was recorded during sunset, at the beautiful Tulp Bar, on the last night of a Summer season a few years back. The bar sits in the middle of the promenade in San Antonio, with a beach in front, and has a great view of the setting sun every evening.

The music is a blend of soulful, vocal house, some new and some old. It gradually winds down in tempo throughout the mix as the sun heads toward the horizon.
